dumped the 2.3 amd for a 3.0 pentium and wow, i love the gui. last version crashed but this latest loaded up fine and dng's did not slow it down a bit.i have zoner photo studio which likes raw images but it is intensive on my 1 gig pentium with an older 6200 card and is not free.beautiful

zonealarm is crap, and caused utorrent to hang under 64-bit "windows 7". it is also documented to cause firefox hangs under vista. stay away from this ill-tested software. "comodo" may be a suitable firewall replacement.

i don't know if i can really tell the difference between the two decoders without doing a direct side by side comparison (too lazy to install another instance of winamp), but i don't like its properties dialog for mp3 files. alt + 3 with the nullsoft decoder brings up the id3 info. alt + 3 with mad brings up the general info on the mp3, then you have to ctrl+tab to get to the id3 section, which isn't as good as nullsoft's.
